RULES-
1. The participants will be asked to pick up a chit in which would be mentioned their topic to speak upon.
2. They will be given a minute to prepare after which they have to speak for two minutes.
3. The participants will be judged on the relevance of the content, confidence, stage presence and fluency.

1. The participant will be given a topic on the spot on which he/she has to write a slogan on.
2. In addition to this, the participants will be given 15 min to present their slogan in any beautiful presentable manner.

Debate

RULES-
1. The topic for the debate is " India to be completely literate by 2017 - a reality or fake vision ".
2. The participants should register as a team of 2, one for the favour and the other speaking against the motion.
3. Participants have to speak for at least 3 min and should not exceed 4 min which is the time limit.
4. There will be two warning bells - one at 3.30min and the other at 3.45 min.
5. The participants will be judged on the content, confidence, stage presence and modulation.
Story writing

1. The participants will be shown a picture in the beginning of the competition on the basis of which they have to frame a storyline.
2. The story should be under a word limit of 200 words which will be narrated thereafter.

1. There is no theme.

5. Emphasis will be given to clothing, walking styles, originality and attitude.
6. No props will be provided by the organiser.
7. Use of any hazardous material on stage is prohibited.
8. Two copies of sound track to be submitted in advance in a CD and pen drive.
9. Vulgarity of any kind would lead to disqualification.
10. No makeup artist would be provided.
11. Decision of the judges would be final and binding.
Solo Singing

RULES-
1. Not more than 5 Entries will be accepted from one Interact Club.
2. Performance time 3-4 mins.

6. Marks to be given on the basis of rhythm, melody, precision, style of singing and way of performing the song.
7. No extra points will be awarded for instruments.

Musical Bands/ War of Bands

RULES-
1. Performance time 10-12 mins.
2. Bands may consist of 3-8 members.
3. No instruments will be provided by the organisers.
4. Marks to be given on the basis of sur, rhythm, creativity, accuracy and style of singing.
5. Original songs can be used as long as within the confined rules.
6. Band scoring categories:-
i) 20% Music selection - taste, difficulty, authenticity, use of instruments, and vocals produced a goof rendering of songs selected.
ii) 30% Vocal performance - quality of: lead/harmony balance, conveying spirit of songs selected.
iii) 30% Instrumental performances - quality of: instrumental blend, instrumental breaks, timing/rhythm.
iv) 20% Stage presence - overall appearance, stage presence, audience appeal and show appeal.

Solo Dance

RULES -
1. Basic rules-minds in the world of “C” Coding to prove their mettle and decipher the answers to questions presented to them. The areas covered while designing the challenges are basics of “C” asIteration, operators, string,file handling etc.
2. Round 1- basic coding will last for 45 minutes( based on basic C)
3. Round 2-faulty codes with bugs will be provided to the participants who shall be expected to find the bug in the code and then present it to the volunteer present without any complication error.
4. Time duration- 30 minutes
5. Round 3- The 3rd section will consist of some hard algorithmic coding problems. For this section participants would be given 60 mins.
6. Guidelines- programming languages used will be C, C++, JAVA.
7. No time constraints will be set for any of the problems so there will be no need to worry about the TLE( TIME LIMIT EXCEEDED) error.
8. Compiler used will be GNU-GCC. It’s the same compiler used in coding sites such as codechef and spoj. Participants should know the difference between this computer and TURBO C++.
Design a Website

LAN Gaming Counter strike

COUNTER STRIKE(CS)
Game rules-
1. Game Version: CounterStrike Condition Zero
2. Players have to bring their own LAPTOPS, mouse, keyboards, headphones, and other peripherals to simulate their own best playing environment (optional).
3. Tournament format: 5 vs. 5 (Team Play, 5 players per team)
4. Winning a round: a. Team that kills all the members of the opposition team wins the round. b. If Terrorists successfully bomb a base then they win the round. c. If bomb is successfully diffused then Counter Terrorists win the round.
5. A different map will be used each game. A knife round will decide which team gets to play Terrorist/CounterTerrorist first.
6. Number of rounds increases as the tournament progresses. Teams switch sides at the halfway mark (i.e., Terrorists play as CTs and CTs become Terrorists). This information will be announced before the start of each match.
7. In the case of a tie after the regulation rounds end, 6 extra rounds will be played as tiebreaker (3 as Terrorist and 3 as Counter Terrorist). Map used will be . The first team to win 4 rounds wins the game.

1. Each participant will be provided with a laptop and they will have to type a provided paragraph at “EXUBERANCE”.

3. For every 2 mistakes 1 second will be added.
4. Each participant will be judged by jury.
5. Again the one who will type the whole paragraph in the minimum time will win.

1. This is an individual event.
2. Theme will be given to the participant on chit system. Participants will pick the theme and go around the fest to take shots relevant to the theme. After 2.5 hours, they will have to submit their entry with a write- up of about 100 words relating the picture with the theme.
3. Registration compulsory for participation.
4. No restriction on the type of camera used (Mobile camera can be used too).
5. Pictures have to be submitted on the same day.
6. Final decision lies with the organizers to accept and reject pictures.
7. Vulgarity and Obscenity is strictly prohibited. Any individual find violating the rule will be disqualified.
8. Photos can be taken anywhere in and around the campus only.
9. Picture should not be edited. You have to submit the original copy.
